CITY OF SYDNEY: Committees and Council meet Monday evenings and the Central Sydney Planning Committee meets Thursdays, generally every three weeks . COMMUNITY FORUMS: The City’s community forums have a new format. The first hour, beginning at 6.00pm, provides an opportunity for you to talk directly with Clover, Councillors, the CEO and Council staff about specific issues. The second part, from 7.00pm is a more formal meeting including presentations. Upcoming forums include:
  • Thursday 15 September, Redfern Town Hall, for Redfern, Waterloo and Darlington residents.
  • Monday 19 September, SCEGGS - Forbes Street, Darlinghurst, for Woolloomooloo, Darlinghurst, East Sydney, Kings Cross, Elizabeth Bay, Potts Point and Rushcutters Bay residents.
  • Thursday 22 September, Paddington Town Hall, for South Paddington, Centennial Park, East Darlinghurst, East Redfern and East Surry Hills residents.

FROG HOLLOW RESERVE: The City is holding an on site community meeting to discuss designs for Stage Two and to mark the completion of Stage One. REDWATCH MEETINGS: REDWatch is a resident group covering Redfern, Eveleigh, Darlington and Waterloo, set up to monitor the Redfern-Waterloo Authority and push for outcomes that benefit the community. Meetings are held on the fourth Sunday of each month, 2.00pm at The Factory Community Centre, 67 Raglan Street Waterloo. KINGS CROSS POLICING MEETINGS: Kings Cross Police hold regular meetings in East Sydney and Woolloomooloo. East Sydney meetings are planned for Mondays 6 June, 5 September and 5 December at SCEGG School, 215 Forbes Street. Woolloomooloo meetings are Tuesdays 7 June, 6 September, and 6 December, at the Mary McDonald Centre, 90 Bourke Street. MAKE POVERTY HISTORY: OXFAM campaign urging the Prime Minister to attend the summit in New York and commit to increasing aid to the agreed 0.7 per cent UN target. Saturday 10 September, 12.00-2.00pm at Palm Grove, Darling Harbour. White armband day activities with speeches, musicians and presentations from schools students. REDFERN DOH POLICE CLINICS: Redfern Police hold regular meetings with Department of Housing tenants to discuss crime, policing and safety.
